In 2021, I began constructing a tiny home in our front yard to accommodate guests while maintaining some distance. I did most of the work myself, learning along the way. The home, measuring 16′ x 24′ externally and 15′ x 23′ internally, includes a full kitchen, bathroom, heating/cooling, water heater, crawl space, vaulted ceilings, and a deck. It was an adventure, and I enjoyed learning about construction while ensuring it met safety standards.
